Notice to all members of Spinal Cord Injury Association of Virginia

The Spinal Cord Injury Association of Virginia, NSCIA will hold a brief general membership meeting in conjunction with our annual cook-out at approximately 6:30pm on Tuesday June 16, 2009. The meeting will be held at: Robious Landing Park, Shelter #2, 3800 James River Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113.

The purpose of this meeting is to vote on proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation as approved by the board of directors for the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Virginia, NSCIA at their May 14, 2009 board meeting.

The primary changes include a name change:

The name of the organization shall be changed from "Spinal Cord Injury Association of Virginia of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association" to "Spinal Cord Injury Association of Virginia".

Each member is entitled to cast a vote in person at approximately 6:30pm on June 16, 2009 or cast a vote by proxy prior to the meeting by contacting the office at 804-726-4990 or sending an email to info@sciava.org
